| Introduce | Madecassoside is a triterpenoid saponin found in the tropical Asian plant C. major pentacyclic triterpenoids including asiatic acid, brahmic acid, or madecassic acid, asiaticoside, and brahmoside. Other products include centelloside, centellose, and madecassoside asiatica. It has a wide range of reported anti-inflammatory, wound healing, and antioxidant activities and has been shown to suppress LPS-induced TNF-α production via inhibition of ERK, p38, and NF-κB activity. |
